Mycoplasma and ureaplasma are bacteria found in normal vaginal discharge. They are common in the general population. Some doctors believe that these may cause recurrent miscarriage. Tetracycline is prescribed for both the woman and her partner if she's not pregnant. Erythromycin is prescribed for women that are already pregnant.
